May is a strange month in my year. It holds two sad anniversaries and two happy birthdays. My beloved grandfather, Arthur, and my cosmic aunt Annie. I am also getting a wonderful gift, broomsticks and wands crossed, but more on that later in the Month!
I shall be thanking the powers that be from this point going forward. I am so thankful and grateful for the wonders of the Universe and the cosmic energy and healing light bestowed upon Earth, and personally, on my family over the past year, and especially in the last week. I’ve always marveled at the Human spirit – the strength of the Human soul to pick up its body and continue forward right in the face of unthinkable pain or odds. I am reminded of that silent warrior in all of us, and can’t help looking up and out of the window opposite my desk and wander what changes would be manifest if we all summoned our inner warriors of light around the world at the same time – wow – wouldn’t that be something?
With the meteor showers continuing to firework our skies, I’ve decided to see them as bolts of Peace, Love and Light shattering the dark mists that continue to try to cover the Earth like a blanket. On 5th and 6th May particularly, the meteors will be like fireworks! Don’t miss it, we won’t have any more until July this year. With the Moon phase this month, we are using Agate and Fire Agate. These, with a bay leaf, are placed in white silk or cotton cloths secured with an elastic band or, preferably, a piece of green cord/ribbon. Between 8th and 20th May, leave outside in a waterproof container. 21st to 23rd, remove from container and place either on the grass or in a leafy plant. Leave outside for at least nine days from 24th May. After that, remove the cloth or covering and place by the foot of your bed. Agates are known for their protective properties and banishment of negative or “bad message” energy. In particular, the return of bad energy to the original sender, when or where applicable.
